Librarians are no better than undergrads

Not surprising, but sad, that the librarians in the class forget to check the discussion board. They didn't find today's lecture! Goes to show that librarians are just as bad as the students we serve about coming unprepared to class, nor are they any better at locating unfamiliar information.

This lecture is much better prepared - Hypatia is actually using the display screen and has a presentation going on - like powerpoint, only bigger!

  1. That's true about not being able to find unfamiliar information ... That's the kind of job-related stress that keeps me up at night. Patrons all think we are super duper searchers, which we should be or at least be striving to be, and when you cannot find something for them it's -- well, embarrassing.
