Coolest class EVER

So, I would be willing to return to school - in TEXAS no less, just to take this class and do this project: "Games for the web: Ethnography of Massively Multiplayer On-line Games." Several lovely aspects to the class:
  • the game World of Warcraft was a required "text" for the course.
  • At least 5 hours/week of gaming were required.
  • 2 class game sessions/week were scheduled, 1 being required per week.

Additionally, some of the papers are pretty interesting. I enjoyed the "Sexism in World of Warcraft", as well as "Sociological and Psychological Factors of Play: Reflections of the Character in the Self." It looks like they had some interesting research, I'll have to read over a few more of them. The blogs are of varying interest as well.

And now for something completely different: Plush dice! (I just want to point out the "if this interests you, check out..." section at the bottom of the page.)
